The Switch has been selected to deliver 5 PMM2000 permanent magnet (PM) shaft generators for the world’s largest 24,000 TEU newbuild container vessels. The first delivery is scheduled for Q4 2025. “Thanks to the success of the shipowner’s 14,000 and 16,000 TEU projects, they decided to continue cooperation with The Switch for their latest 24,000 TEU fleet. We are pleased to support them in reaching their decarbonization goals,” says Wang Yang, Key Account Manager at The Switch.
