Two The Switch PMM1500M permanent magnet (PM) shaft generators have been ordered for newbuild ammonium carriers (LPG). Applications for the shaft generator include power take out (PTO), power take in (PTI) and power take home (PTH).
Deliveries are scheduled in Q2 2025 and Q3 2025. “We are happy to receive repeat orders from the shipowner, which demonstrates their faith in us and our permanent magnet technology for advanced shaft generators,” Risto Ahvo, Sales Director at The Switch, says.
