As the premier global arena for maritime excellence, Nor-Shipping 2025 brought together industry leaders from across the world on June 2–6 in Oslo.
The event’s focus was to share knowledge, debate and showcase innovation.
To share knowledge, Asbjørn Halsebakke spoke at Maritime Cleantech Norway’s BlueTalks stage on “Safe by design: The future of DC at sea.” About 30 people came to listen, sparking good discussions with The Switch afterwards. Overall, the BlueTalks area buzzed with activity throughout the event.
To debate, The Switch had company representatives from Norway, Finland and Japan who were on hand for discussions throughout the show.
“Nor-Shipping continues to be a key venue for face-to-face engagement with our customers and industry stakeholders,” says Paul Atherton, General Manager of The Switch Norway. “It’s a vital opportunity for us to listen, connect and collaborate.”
To showcase innovation, The Switch stand highlighted the company’s portfolio of game-changing green electrical machines and power electronics as part of the Finland Pavilion. The team was busy scheduling future follow-up meetings and continued discussions with many interested parties.
This year’s #future-proof theme provided the ideal platform for The Switch to demonstrate its forward-looking approach to navigating toward a future of sustainable success.
