On Friday, June 14, marine power module number 4,000 was successfully produced and tested in Stord, Norway. It is now ready for delivery to the vessel with a golden nameplate.
The development of the power module started in 2001. At that time, the team felt reaching even 1,000 modules would never be possible. So, this big milestone was celebrated with a cake.
Hans Willy Ottesen on the left has assembled almost all of the modules. Last year, one of our trainees, Jan Audun Tharaldsen, also helped with the module assembly and has been working with assembly ever since. Oscar Haga, in the middle, performed the testing of the module, which passed with flying colors.
