Incap Corporation has signed a cooperation agreement with the wind turbine component supplier The Switch Engineering Ltd (The Switch). Incap manufactures stator components to The Switch for their new wind generator model. The first deliveries will begin from Incap’s Vaasa factory in March 2012.
The Switch, an innovative, Finland-based New Energy company, participated in Wind Power Asia 2010 with its proven portfolio of permanent magnet generators and full-power converters, the critical components for wind turbine manufacturers.
Lars Backström, Finnish Ambassador to China, visited The Switch booth to find out more about the company’s successful track record of just over 3 GW of installed wind capacity in less than three years of operation.
How could you apply PM machines in your industry?
The Switch received another order to deliver two PM shaft generators to WE Tech Solutions of Finland.
Based on The Switch’s know-how and experience of delivering converters that fulfill the strictest grid codes, Vancouver-based Water Wall Turbine Inc. (WWT) selected the company to provide a 500 kW full-power converter for its innovative self-floating power plant.
The Switch has received repeat PM shaft generator orders from WE Tech Solutions. This repeat order signals a strong belief in the company and provides a solid order backlog as The Switch continues to advance drive train technology under new ownership of Japan-based Yaskawa.
