In June 2024, The Switch received a new order to deliver DC-Hubs to 4 newbuild low-carbon, multipurpose vessels (MPV) for short-sea routes. The estimated date of delivery will be in Q4 of 2024 through Q2 of 2025.
According to Juha Tennivaara, Vice President Sales at The Switch, this order helps the company strengthen its position in supplying DC distribution solutions to vessels that aim for notably lower greenhouse gas emissions with lower cargo handling costs.
