Located in Lappeenranta, Finland, Large Drive Test Center is moving ahead. The latest step has been to complete the special heavy-duty floor at the end of March 2020. With its unique steel construction, the floor can hold the weight – and all the forces and vibrations of machines – up to 80 tons, and will weigh approximately 1 million kg.
This test center is one of the largest of its kind for renewable energy, enabling us to test higher power drive trains up to 15 MW – and even higher in the future.
CFM Schiller GmbH, an internationally active manufacturer of high-standard test bench components and vibration isolation systems, was chosen as our prime partner for this floor construction project.
