Efficient power at sea, cleaner operation in port

Pure car and truck carriers require substantial onboard electrical power for ventilation across multiple vehicle decks. Loading and discharge add peaks in hydraulic and ramp power on top of that steady air circulation load. At the same time, growing pressure to reduce emissions and noise in ports is driving demand for hybrid and battery-based solutions. Reliable, adaptable power systems based on shaft generators and propulsion motors are therefore key to cost-efficient PCTC operations.
