We are thrilled to announce the expansion of our power electronics production facilities. This significant development includes a substantial capacity increase at our existing facility in Stord, Norway, and the establishment of a new production line in Vaasa, Finland.
The new production line in Vaasa will enhance our ability to meet the growing demand for advanced power electronics solutions. This new production line will not only boost our production capabilities but also create new job opportunities in the region, contributing to the local economy.
In addition, our recent shaft generator orders are reinforcing our position as the leading supplier of inline permanent magnet (PM) shaft generators. Since we started in the marine business in 2014, our PM machines have now been sold to more than 300 large ocean-going vessels operating around the world. These orders highlight the trust our customers place in our advanced technology and our commitment to delivering high-quality, efficient products for the marine industry.
We are proud to continue setting the standard for decarbonization through electrification with our electric machine and power electronics products, particularly in marine applications, as well as in the wind and industry sectors.
