The Switch single drives have been selected as part of a retrofit solution to hybridize a larger fleet of older vessels. The drives will connect batteries to the vessels’ AC switchboards.
The Switch drives will be containerized with a battery and transformer by the system integrator and delivered as a single turnkey package. Delivery to the first vessel in the fleet is expected in Q1 2025.
