By adding several new models to its offering, The Switch, a Finnish-based technology company, is the first company to provide a complete portfolio of permanent magnet based generator packages specifically designed for maximized wind power generation.
The latest additions include an outer rotor generator, a modern-style 2.5 MW drive train, and a double-fed option.
MAN Energy Solutions has launched its EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) electrical turbo blower for the marine market. The Electrical Turbo Blower (ETB) units will be installed aboard vessels as part of their main engines’ integrated EGR system.
