The local entrepreneur association in Ostrobothnia, Finland, has awarded The Switch as “The Entrepreneur of The Year 2010”. The recognition was given for the company’s tremendous growth, internationalization and societal impact especially in Vaasa, one of the Ostrobothnia municipalities.
Greater customer value in all we do
The wind power industry has been under pressure during this year as expected. Still, it now looks like the largest markets of China and the US are moving forward. This brings higher hopes for 2014, which should materialize into orders already this year.
At The Switch, we have enhanced our strategy. We are concentrating even more to bring value to our customers. Our employees have analyzed and discussed how they can promote greater customer value in their work.

Matti reaches 10-year milestone
My first 10 years in the company have now passed. Before joining The Switch, I worked in a building insulation company as head of engineering and the project department. I basically held the same position for 12 years and felt I needed a change. And I certainly got that!
